Talk title and synopsis
The regulation of zein synthesis during maize endosperm development
Zeins are the most prominent seed storage proteins in maize seed. The synthesis of zeins not only determine seed protein quality, but also affect seed texture and hardness. The talk will summarize recent progress in the regulation of zeins during maize endosperm development.
